The goal of McGruder’s Action Organization, Inc will provide low-income and cost-efficient housing and support services to individuals with severe mental health disorders as they transition to independent living. MAO further seeks to create visible and sustainable pathways for residential housing for individuals affected by mental health and substance abuse through fundraising events and federal grant opportunities. Operating as an advocate and staunch proponent for the needs of individuals with mental health brings awareness to this pressing issue and expand resources to meet the needs of this priority population.
