Our History
MAGRUDER ACTION ORGANIZATION INC. is a community health service startup company located in Baltimore City, Maryland. The company was founded December 2021, due to the increasing need for housing people with severe mental health disorders. The company will work under the licensure of the Maryland Department of Mental Health and Hygiene (DHMH) and will adhere to all the laws and statues regarding professional and social responsibility upon the provider. We. will implement a program to assess individual’s need and provide the appropriate therapy needed.
The company will cater to those within the city limits and the surrounding areas, with revenue generated from donations and other funding sources. We shall accept referral from the community, MHP, DSS, and any other government agency that may require our service. The growth and progression of the business will be determined by the needs of the community and corresponding state assistance.

We affirm the integrity of person’s served and seek to further enhance each person’s self-worth. The mission of the Magruder’s Action Organization (MAO) is to enhance the quality of life in our community through individual and family services, community programs, and partnerships with other organizations.
